The St. Charles County Genealogical Society and the St. Charles Community College will be co-sponsoring a genealogy computer workshop on the college campus in St. Peters, Missouri on 19 Oct 2002. The workshop runs from 8:30 until 3:30. A $10 discount on registration is being offered to members of the St. Charles County Genealogical Society.

This workshop will be in a computer lab and all attendees will have their own machine. This workshop is being offered in response to requests we've had from previous attendees. Registration is limited and early registration is encouraged. Registration fee includes handout.

Topics are:

Online Searching Techniques

Using the Family History Library (LDS Church) Web Site

Using the 1880 Census Transcription from the Family History Library

"New" Ancestor—what do I do online?
