The Genealogical Institute of Mid-America is a four-day program of formal instruction and intensive studies. Each course is a 16 session, 4 day intensive educational experience. Registrants register for one course. Courses are taught in a small class setting that features excellent student/instructor interaction. The institute also provides students with an opportunity to meet and share information with fellow Institute attendees through networking opportunities.
The Institute is held on the University of Illinois-Springfield's modern conference center. This educational opportunity includes 3 dinner sessions in addition to the course lectures and a Thursday night banquet.
In addition there is a separate Friday, July 12th session "Before You Hit Enter", a 4 lecture daylong session that includes handouts. Separate registration is required for this workshop.
