On Saturday, June 8, 2002 at 10: 00 a.m. Miguel Hernandez, president of the
Puerto Rican/Hispanic Genealogical Society will conduct a lecture entitled,
"Hispanic Genealogy 101" This lecture is designed for beginners and more
advanced family history researchers who have ancestral roots in Puerto Rico,
Latin America and Spain. Topics such as the Spanish naming system and church,
civil and military record sources will be discussed.The lecture will be held
at:
