I'm pleased to report that Archive CD Books have kindly donated a copy of
this book on CD to this society :-

The Burford Records
A Study in Minor Town Government

This is an eighteenth century book, which comes in three distinct sections
:-

1. History of the corporation of Burford.

2. Studies in the history of Burford.

3. Calendar of Burford records.

There then follows a general index, index of persons and index of places.

This CD will be freely available for users of the society's reference
library at the Holford Centre from Tuesday onwards. The Holford Centre is
now open *every* Tuesday, on the third Saturday of every month and on one
"ad hoc" Sunday per month. For full details of dates and times, location of
the Holford Centre and the like, please see our website.

Anyone living locally who wishes to purchase a copy of the CD should note
that all of the Oxfordshire CD productions of Archive CD Books are on sale
from reception at the Oxfordshire Record Office.
