FAMILY HISTORY AT VERMONT COLLEGE THIS SUMMER

Summer's Coming! Spend summer with Michael J. Neill, M.S. or Alice
Eichholz, Ph.D., CG and a group of other researchers pursuing Family
History online and earn college credit (if you need it).

Here are the opportunities:

1) Method or Madness: Internet Searching for Ancestors - Six week
workshop with Michael J. Neill, starts Jul 9. Learn how to locate, use
and evaluate family history information on the Internet.

2) Metes, Bounds, Sections, Surveys: Using Land Records in Family
History
Research - 10 week seminar with Michael J. Neill, starts Jun 25. Learn
how to locate and use land records for solving problems. Also, includes
how to map tracts of land to determine neighbors and community.

3) Introduction to Family History -- 10 weeks with Alice Eichholz,
starts
Jun 25. Go beyond the basics and learn how to think and analyze
information. Learn to place your ancestors in the context of their times

and places.

It's easy to get started and you'll have the opportunity to work on your

family history problems with the experts.
