The 21st International Conference on Jewish Genealogy will be held at the
Hotel Intercontinental, Hyde Park Corner, London from 8-13th July 2001.

Five days of discovery and inspiration
over 170 speakers
Beginners workshops, how-to sessions, beginners and advanced lectures and
research, computer and digital technology in genealogy.
Themed day long sessions with panel discussions on:
Migration, genetics and genealogy, restitution (looted art and other
property) and genealogy, open archival access, provincial England and the
colonies, etc.
Other themes include Sephardi Jewry, Spanish Inquisition, Italian Genealogy,
Jews of China,
A number of eastern European archivists will be speaking and consulting.
Experienced lecturers from the Family History centres of Salt Lake City and
London will be speaking, as will lecturers from the British Library, the
Royal Geographic Society, the Public Records Office and many more.
Facilities include a Computer room, Resource room, vendor stalls.

Guided tours and resources to discover include the
Public Record Office, British Library, Family Records Centre, Family
History Centre
British Telecom Archives, Weiner Library, Parkes Library

Day excursions to Beth Shalom Holocaust Centre, Imperial War Museum
Holocaust Section, London's east End, walking tours, Tate Modern etc.
