Monday: 19 Feb. 2001 -- Huntsville (AL) Genealogical Computing Society

Mark HUBBS, historian and environmental analyst, of Madison, AL will tell
members of the Huntsville (AL) Genealogical Computing Society and their
guests about clothing worn by Americans in the early 1800s in the United
States on Monday, 19 Feb. 2001, at 7 P.M. at the Huntsville Library..
Visitors are welcome and there is no charge.
He will have a display of clothing from that period, along with rifles
our ancestors used for killing game for food and protection. He makes all of
the clothing he displays, except for the socks and shoes. He will trace
changes in styles of the clothing from Colonial times and explain the fabrics
and why the changes were made.
