Subject: [GEN-EVENTS-L] OCPS Cemetery Restoration Workshop

The OHIO CEMETERY PRESERVATION SOCIETY will be conducting a CEMETERY
RESTORATION WORKSHOP fundraiser on Saturday, September 30 at Pittsfield
Cemetery on Rt. 303 near Rt. 58 in Lorain County. Demonstrations will be
given in general cemetery clean-up and stone resetting and repair. There
will also be instruction on reading faded inscriptions using noninvasive
methods and symbolism interpretation. We will begin at 8:30 A.M. and
continue all day until about 5:30 P.M.

If you are interested in the preservation of Ohio's cemeteries, please be
sure to attend. The cost will be $30 for reservations and payments made
before Sept. 25, $35 after. Lunch, beverages and informative handouts will
be included in the fee.
