6 and 7 May 2000. JAMBOREE, a major genealogical exhibition sponsored by
the SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY, will be held from 8:30 a.m.
to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 6, and from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday,
May 7, at the Pasadena Center, 300 East Green St., Pasadena, CA. It will
include a roster of nationally known speakers; exhibitor displays of
books, supplies, equipment and services; membership information on
societies; source information on states and countries; and instruction for
beginners. Attendees will also have a chance to win a grand prize of five
nights at the Salt Lake Plaza Hotel, conveniently located near the Family
History Library of the LDS Church in Salt Lake City. Admission tickets,
which include all events, will be sold at the Pasadena Center box office
beginning at 8:00 a.m. on both days of the event. Ticket prices will be
$10.00 for one day or $15.00 for two days. To see the schedule of speakers
