By all means, send it to The Genealogical Helper. (They will review it,
which will give you free publicity.) Also, any other national
genealogical publications you know of. Don't forget your state
genealogical society, both where you live and, if you focus on another
state or states, those, too.
Don't pay for publicity if you don't have to.
I published a newsletter, usually quarterly for over two years. I would
have resumed by now, but got back into the job market faster than
I'd anticipated, so I've got other things I have to do with that time.
(A new job will mean the third move in 18 months.)
