Personally, I do not see how you can beat indexing on WordPerfect 5.1. Not
that I have tried anything else, but I do have to compile at least three
indexes for each of my genealogical bibliographies, i.e. place, family
name, & author; WordPerfect does it beautifully; indeed, for entires only
requiring single lines it does it automatically if I asterisk the terms
needing indexing. I do not, however, like the changes to the indexing
system in WordPerfect 6.1. Maybe I'm just too used to the original system!

I saw that someone mentioned a program called SkyIndex that they used on
their book and that they said they didn't like doing all the tagging in
word processing programs to get indexing done. So, my question is, is
SkyIndex the only indexing program out there? and what do you the rest of
you think of it? What are some of the other programs? (and for me, are
there any Mac indexing programs?) But please share indexing program
reviews and so on for all kinds of platforms.

Thanks,
Jen
