Tracey,

If you're really paying $1.25 for 13 pages copied both sides, you're
paying a pretty high price. How many copies do you make each run? Are
they reproduced on a copy machine or a printing press? You should be
able to buy copies for two or three cents a side, if you're doing at
least 100 sets.

I use 11x17 pages, folded and stapled. I get 350 28-page (7 sheets) for
$400, and that's in Boston where everything costs more. I have a
printer run them on his press. Cost includes collating, folding,
stapling. The printer charges me $25 for each photograph I ask him to
shoot, but often I just scan in photos and that costs nothing.

You might want to spend some time talking to copy shops & printers for
prices. Ask them which is more economical. Copy machines hate 11x17
two-sided pages (they eat a lot of them!) but printers love them. If
you have a Staples or Office Max nearby, get quotes from them, but also
talk to the independents near them who are having to compete with them
to stay in business.

The card stock covers will add quite a bit to your price. They will
also increase you mailing costs, so remember to factor that in.
