To many of you that are sending out your family, library or society
newsletters, consider adding our library to your mailing list, if you
haven't already. As a non-profit lending library for genealogical
purposes, we have people come from all over the state of Washington, and
also some from out of state, to use our library. Many people have asked -
do you have Jones or Smith, etc, family newsletter, or different County
and state Gene. Society newsletters, etc, etc. In many cases we do. But,
we really need more.

At this time a do an eight page HQRL newsletter, in MS Publisher 97,
which does a beautiful job -- BUT if I want to send it via e-mail to people
who don't have Publisher 97, I have to save to a Word 6 or 95 document --
go to Word and put it back in order, then send it. Hopefully someone can
tell me an easier way to do it.
In the near future I will be doing a much larger, at least 40-50 page
newsletter that will be sent out quarterly. Please, ?? if I send it as an
attachment will I be able to make it that long, or do I have to make a much
shorter one. And I'm wondering about adding clip art (The ones from
Kinseekers seem like they would be good). I really would like to send it
e-mail, due to the cost and TIME involved in printing, sorting, stapling,
stamping, etc, etc, it takes to snail-mail it.
