If your still on the list then obviously you may have READ the unsub
instructions, but you DID'NT FOLLOW THEM.

RootsWeb operates on a system called SmartList - a sort of auto-robot.
In order to unsubscribe you MUST following the instructions below and
you must unsub from the CORRECT list.

If you are receiving the REGULAR LIST email messages - then you must unsub
from the "L-request" address. If you are receiving the DIGEST, then you
MUST unsub from the "D-request" address.

TO UNSUBSCRIBE from the REGULAR LIST click on the link below:

Subject Line MUST be BLANK
Put ONLY ONE WORD in the message: UNSUBSCRIBE
(NO names, NO messages, NO signature files - anything other than JUST that
one word will confuse the robot, and no action will be taken.)

TO UNSUBSCRIBE from the DIGEST MODE click on the link below:

Since you are on AOL and can't leave the Subject Line blank then just put a
"." (without the quotes) in the subject line.

See, it helps to pay attention to WHAT you are reading - there are TWO
different addresses - figure out which you are receiving and unsub from the
right one!
