I'm sorry I was so lazy in getting titles for the books I liked in my
last
email. Some of them are more for autobiographies, but they are
interesting
and have great ideas that can be carried into family history
publication.
I've read the first two and the second one (Polking) has encouraged me
to
write so much that I keep putting it down to write more! The library
call
numbers for all of these were 808.06692. IHere they are:
How to Publish and Market your Family History, Third Edition, by Carl
Boyer,
3rd
Writing your Life, Putting your Past on Paper by Lou Willett Stanek, PHD
Writing Family Histories and Memoirs by Kirk Polking
The Times of Our Lives, A Guide to Writing Autobiography and Memoir by
Mary
Jane Moffat
Your Autobiography: More than 300 Questions to Help you write your
personal
history by Ray Munge
Writing Your Life: A Journey to Discovery by Patti Miller
I hope that gives you some ideas. Once you get to that section, I'm
sure
you'll find several that interest you!
