Hello everyone;

I want to again thank everyone for the great suggestions
you sent for Articles for the Fuller Society Jr. Newsletter.
I'm sending along a list of what I received.
I tried to thank each of you personally, if I missed you,
please forgive me.
I even received a letter from Mayflower Society
people in Hawaii. They share newsletters with other Societies,
and would like to share one with The Junior membership.

List of Suggestions for the Fuller Society Junior Newsletter

1. Story about "Secret Soldier" ... published by Scholastic Books
A woman that dressed as a man, so she could serve in the
Revolutionary War. Her name ...... Deborah Sampson.
2. Short stories or biographical sketches of the 'children' of
our ancestors.
Particular challenges faced by the young person,
who had to "Move"
3. Have the 'kids' get a photocopy of a grandparent or parent,
and color it.
Then include them in newsletter
4. Enclose a pedigree chart for them to fill out
(A very simple one, for younger ages)
5. Submit and or tell of recipes handed down through the family.
6. Make a simple puzzle .... maternal, paternal, grandparents, etc.
Add something to help them learn what & how a word fits them!
7. Halloween party, dressing as our ancestors ...
submit pics for publication.
8. Have them interview their oldest living relative,
or a grandparent.
9. Tell about type of games these young ancestors played.
