I definitely welcome any recommendations for a good printer. I have been
having a lot of trouble finding someone who can do low quantities. The
quote I had was from Gateway Press in Baltimore. I called another one in
Oklahoma. Good price, but am not particularly impressed with their work. I
have also called Bookcrafters, but haven't gotten the estimate back yet. If
anybody knows of another printer that will do small runs (100-200 books) I
would love to get a quote from somewhere else.
The book is 144 pages, 8.5 x 11, with tons of photos, but I have already
scanned them myself. I'd like to have someone that will take the file
straight off my disk, rather than use laser prints as mechanicals. That
will keep the quality of the photos very good. Please let me know if any of
you have had a good experience with any printers and would recommend them.
