Subject: Chestatee Lodge Returns 1880 - Partial (long post)

Well, good things come to those who try, try again. The kind folks at the
Grand Lodge of Georgia responded to my recent second request for additional
information about the Chestatee Lodge, since I found another ancestor
listed among those in the first set of documents they sent me relating to
my McClure ancestry. This time, I got more complete records for some years.
I'll post everything I've gotten as I have the time. For now, the 1880
return information I got is a partial return. It is three photocopied pages
of the original return cards. The first is the card showing the name and
location of the lodge and its officers; the second is a partial list of the
members in good standing, and the third is list of members who were raised
as Master Masons during the previous year. 1879-1880 was a good year for
the lodge, it seems. Note: the lodge year ended August 31st. Also note that
in 1880, the lodge is listed in Hall County, but in 1881, it's in Forsyth.
Sorry for those who'll see this post on both lists.
