<< Hello fellow Forsyth County researchers,
I had a good day of research at the GA Archives this week, and I have
transcribed the will of my great-great-grandfather, John C. Singleton,
which I found on the microfilm of Forsyth County wills, book B, pp.
260-260. Rather than posting the lengthy transcription here as part of this
note, I thought I'd offer it to anyone who wants it as a text file. Also,
Donna, if you want to post it online (or have me net out the genealogical
tidbits rather than posting the full transcription) I'll be happy to do
that as well. I also have notes from the wills of two of John's children:
Ida and Lee. I did not make full transcriptions of those wills, as I did
not have time.
I am still looking for a document to prove John C. Singleton's middle name
was Calvin, as another researcher's notes have shown, so if you're a
Singleton researcher who knows where John's middle name is listed, please
let me know. I'd be most grateful!
