This Mt. Tabor is in north Forsyth County near the Cherokee County line. Jesse and Martha Hendrix were charter members in 1833. Wm. G. Hendricks and A.J. (Thomas) Hendricks appear on the earliest male membership list that we have in 1842. Wm. H. Hendricks appears baptisized in November 1854. Dicey Hendricks appears on the earliest female membership in 1842. In 1859, Wm. G. and Wm. H. are still there and Lee R. Hendricks
joined with a letter September 1859. Dicey M. is in the 1859 list with Rebecca J. Hendricks joining by letter in September 1859. None appear in the 1873 list of members. There are 3 Hendrix marked graves in the cemetery- Catherine(August 29, 1817-May 25, 1887), James L.(November 28, 1818-October 28, 1864) and Sarah Jane(October 1, 1842-December 27, 1912). I hope that this will help you. There are references to some of
these Hendrix's in the church minutes, if you are interested.

I have a land deed for a William Hendrix in Spart. Co. in 1783. I do not know if that is MY William Hendrix's father or not. If you have a William Hendrix or Isaac Hendrix buried there from that time period, I would certainly appreciate knowing about it. Thanks a lot.
