Mary A. Holtzclaw is a widow living in the High Tower area, Forsyth County in
the 1880 census with a widowed daughter Angeline Floyd and granddaughter,
Mary E. Floyd.
I believe this is the widow of Elijah Holtzclaw. They were members of Mt.
Tabor Baptist Church in the 1860's then asked for a letter of dismissal which
was granted.
What churches were located in the High Tower area in the late 1860's and into
the 1880's?
