Kathy,

I descend from the Richard Phillips line of Forsyth County and have a distant
relative that married into the Samples line. I have the book "The Richard
Phillips Family 1791-1983", which includes several generations of the Sample
line.

My line, from Daniel M. Phillips, (the second child, and first born son of
Richard Phillips) is not documented in the book, but I have plenty on this
line.

The distant relative was Richard's granddaughter, Elizabeth Jane Phillips,
who married Monroe Milledge Samples.

Let me know if this is part of your Samples line.
