My wife and I just returned from a trip to Forsyth County for a Roper
reunion (we live in Arkansas). While in Cumming, I made a trip to the
courthouse to try to find two records - which I didn't find. I spent hours
trying to figure out where the records might be. I just now checked my
original source and my face is red - the source ("Some Southern Roper
Trees") TELLS EXACTLY where to find these records:

Deeds: Vol. L. Page 101:

1 note: H. F. and John Roper dated 21 Aug. 1850 for $2.05.
1 note: H. F. and John Roper dated 28 Dec. 1846 for $12.50.
Cash in greenbacks: $23.00

I would like to have a photocopy of these two notes. Is there anyone there
that could go to the courthouse and copy these for me? Or can you tell me
who to contact to get them copied? Any help will be appreciated.
