I was looking at the Garland Bagley "History of Forsyth Co., GA Vol. II" in
the library in Shreveport LA this afternoon. I found family in it and an
wanting to go back to it soon.

It is a nice large book with lots of data in it.

Another book by Don Shadburn is "Pioneer History of Forsyth County Georgia."
Garland Bagley's "History of Forsyth County, Georgia 1832-1932 Volumes I and
II may be helpful, too. Rather than travel so far, contact the Forsyth
County
Library for interlibrary loan. Many Garretts are mentioned in Shadburns and
Bagley's books. Your eyes will pick up the connections better than mine.
Good
luck.
