Dorothy,
I do descend from John Brannon who I show being born in 1796 in North
Carolina married to Rebekah Cole. I'm assuming this is the same Brannon.
My great great grandfather was William married to Nancy (?). Their son
Cicero Powell was my great grandfather. Are you related to J.L. Brannon?
I had someone else on the GAFORSYT list write to me asking about the
Brannon family. It seems she was looking for information on Nancy
Brannon and Emory Estes.
I would appreciate any information you have on the Brannon line. I've
traced the family back to Caron Brannon who came to the country in 1695.
I'm looking forward to sharing information with you.
Julie
