The entry was probably taken from the records or microfilm of records in the
Clerk of Superior Court, Forsyth County. The charge, the jury, and the
sentence would be found in the main books. Whether the back up material is
available is another matter. Some of these records were eaten by rats way
before the microfilming.
Does the "Black Book" list any reference numbers to look at, example, book
and page, or case number, or exact date of sentencing?
