I have a death certificate from the State of Georgia for
Rachel BIVINS, black, female, widow (husband's name not given),
325 pounds at time of death, occupation laundress; born in
June 1896 in Milledgeville, Georgia; died of a heart attack at
age 43 years on 19 September 1939 at her residence, 366 Railroad
Avenue, Macon (Bibb County) Georgia. The doctor on the death
certificate is F. C. Davies M.D., #504 Mulberry Street, Macon,
Georgia. Rachel BIVINS' parents are listed as William SHEILDS
and Sallie SHEILDS. The informant is listed as Mary SMITH of
Eastman, Georgia. Burial was in Eastman, Georgia on 21 September
1939, handled by Hutchings Funeral Home. I am willing to mail
this death certificate to a family member for the cost of $10
I paid to Georgia Department of Public Health.
