After the mess yesterday got straightened up things should get back to
normal soon. It looks like some messages were getting through, but not many.
When AOL shuts down it's email and starts bouncing messages it really fouls
things up with the list hosts, like rootsweb. They have a habit of doing
that on a regular basis, with no warning to anyone. When the lists slow down
to a trickle it usually means AOL has gone down (refusing messages) or there
has been a power outage at one, or more of the routing centers around the
country. The outages are usually caused by bad weather, which there has been
abundance of the last few months.
