My method of sharing information is quite different, but it works for me.
I put my database on the web, where people can browse their family trees.
If they find something they disagree with or have additional information,
they can click on the "Send Info" button. A pop-up window then appears,
where they can type the comment, and I will then receive it as an e-mail,
which incudes information on who makes the commend, and which individual
he/she is commenting on.

Some of those comments are useless, of course, but others have villed in
some of those annoying, remaining gaps.
