Did you miss this part of the statement: "It would appear....." In this
respect callous means hardened in feeling, insensible; and unfeeling.
The only "ethic" about which rootsweb is concerned with is a
commercial/business interest, not a moral ethic.

I don't believe that one can have a frank and honest discussion with
rootsweb. Unlike you and me, RootsWeb is an organization that sets a
policy, it does not invite frank and honest discussion. To find a
complaint address, one must search through page after page on the web
site. AAMOF, the only complaint address I was able to find was in
references to Mail list owners and the policy there is that the list
belongs to the owner and rootsweb is hesitant to interfere.
