This statement disturbs me. While we may disagree with Rootsweb's
position or the various agencies publishing "public domain"
information on the 'Net, they are entitled to their point of view. To start
calling an entity "callous" or to accuse them of lacking a genealogy
ethic because you disagree with them, is to me, ironically, unethical.

I would hope that if my set of values differs from yours, we could have
a frank and honest discussion without devolving into name-calling or
character assassination.
