Hi

Over the last couple of years a number of people have asked about place-
names in Cambridgeshire

I would like to recommend a newish book to help.

Philip's and Ordnance Survey have combined to produce a

Street Atlas of Cambridgeshire

ISBN: 0540080977


Since I received it in November it has proved invaluable for project
work - the scale is mostly 3 1/2 inches to the mile, and it gives farm,
dyke and wood names, as well as the plain streets........


I believe that they are producing this work for all English counties.


The cover price is £9.99, but Amazon have it for £7.99
