Dear Barb,

I thought for a minute you were going to provide my first WOW moment of 2002.

I have looked through all the records of Mysons for your Rebecca. There are
Rebeccas in several trees, but none born in or around 1806. However, you
mention that you haven't heard of Horseheath. I don't have the registers,
but suggest you might find it worthwhile to look there, as Horseheath is just
4 miles away from Linton and there have been Mysons there since the mid
1700s. Indeed I know of one still very much alive who was born there!

Having written the above, I found an IGI extract I made in 1998, which gives:

Rebecca Misen baptised 30 Nov 1809 in Horseheath, Cambridge, daughter of
James Misen and Rebecca ___

It is not proven, but I should think that is a strong possibility and worth
following up. The spelling is OK. The vaiations on Mison are legion. I've
found 14 so far.

Good luck and thanks for getting in touch.

Gill
