Apologies for cross-posting, but I'm yet to see this information on any of
the lists I'm on.

The December issue of Computer Buyer has the basic UK version (2.1) of
Ultimate Family Tree on its cover. For a price of 2.99 GBP this seems
exceptionally good value to me! It comes with a .pdf version of the manual
as well. On first sight, it seems a highly sophisticated software package.

There must be something in the air because another magazine (I'm sorry I
didn't note which one) also has a family tree package on its cover -
Compton's Family Tree. Not one I know and for 4.99 GBP not quite such a
bargain - but could be worth a look.
