Hello Fiona:

Thanks very much. I wonder if the chapel that had been there from 1349 to
1543 was St. Evangile's, although that sounds very much like a Walloon or
French name, doesn't it and they were Calvinist Protestants. I found the
notation in something referring to the period after the Walloons had
arrived at Sandtoft approx. 1628 but maybe I misread it.

Thanks very much - I'll check St. Matthews at the LDS Family History Center.
I'm sending a copy of this to Marion Fountain who was going to ask her
brother in Peterborough about it.
