I have a gg gran Elizabeth BOSSINGHAM from Wisbech - family was in
Timbermarket when she was baptised - I too have been there, and found the
street. Would love to know which house - her father was Benjamin Bossingham
a tailor.
Yes I found records at the museum and the staff were lovely. Welcomed me as
a Fenlander all the way from Australia!
If you find my family anywhere (Elizabeth's mother was Mary Wilkinson of
Upwell, and Eliz's paternal grandmother was Elizabeth Stevenson also of
Upwell) or even better we are connected - please get in touch!
I thoroughly enjoyed the photos and hope to make another, longer, visit to
Wisbech in a few years.

Hello Barbara in Stockport
I am Liz from Stockport - it is a small world. My lot are mainly from
Clenchwarton just over the border in Norfolk. Called TIPPLE which is a bit
of a pain for googling, you get all the alcohol sites.
I am not originally from Stockport - BUT, if you are one of the many many
people I meet who was taught by Miss DUROSE, she is a distant cousin,
although I didnt know that til I moved here
