I went to it last night and got the same thing. I shortened the web site
address (I think I ended with /register/ and then found links to Camdex. I
noticed that they changed the contents - originally on marriages they
included other surnames on the certificate (such as father's surname, which
identified the bride) which was very helpful. But these other surnames are
no longer given in the marriage index - I checked some marriages that I had
found before and the additional surname was no longer there. Too bad - I
wonder why they cut that out. It was very helpful, especially with common
names or if the couple couldn't be found in a later census to get age and
birth place to help identify them.
