Hi all,

Many thanks to Nathan Jensen who found me some really useful baptism info on
Thomas GIBSON.

It gives a date of 1835, this is very close to the date declared on the
census 46 years later. It shows his parents as Ephraim and Elizabeth of old
Market and is taken from the Wisbech St Peter registers.

My Thomas moved to Middlesbrough, married and spent the rest of his life up
there but importantly named one of his sons Ephraim. A search of the 1901
online census shows only two people with the christian name of Ephraim in
the entire administrative county of Middlesbrough. (I can't think why!)

Nathan mentioned the Cambs online baptism index, if anyone could give me the
internet address for that and any other useful online searchable databases
for that area I would be most grateful.

Needless to say I would also welcome any information on Thomas, Ephraim and
Elizabeth GIBSON and other members of their family.

kind regards
Chris
