Hi all
Introducing myself as a new subscriber.

Having grown up thinking that I was a 'true blue scouser', a bit of reseach has made me realise that I only have Scouse ancestry for about 120-150 years. On all sides my lot seem to have 'immigrated' to the 'Pool in the late 1800s

Does anyone out there recognise or connect with these names ...dates give probable arrival in Liverpool..occupations at the time.

PAVEY (butcher) Devon/Liverpool(1881)
SEYMOUR (mariner, rigger) Devon/Liverpool(1867)
STANDISH (blacksmith) Wigan/Liverpool(abt1850)
VENABLES(tram driver) Staffs/Liverpool(1886)
and the inevitable JONES, James(Boot and Shoe maker, Aigburth and Toxteth Park 1908-1917)

Hoping for some connections

Joan
