Hi Pam, (Hendy) &list,
Pam seem to recall you were looking for AUSTIN's, were they
from Farthinghoe? If so have a couple of inscriptions from the
headstones in the churchyard Re. AUSTIN.

Hope someone can use them, as while we were there noting
names, dates & a pic of the church, i was walking backwards,
one eye through the veiw finder, trying to get all the church in,
when i heard (& felt) a very strange 'hissing' noise, i looked down
to see that i had just trod on the tail of the only poisonous snake
we have here, it had been basking in the sun after several wet days.

It really put me off going through the long grass at the other places
we went to look at ! (or it could have been that my legs were still
shaking so much i couldn't reach them :>))
