I located the war diary of Albert F. B. Edwards, Chester, N.H., member of Co. K, 15th or 18th New Hampshire Regiment at Hill Memorial Library, Louisiana State University. The entries concern his time in Louisiana especially at the Siege of Port Hudson. The diary was a beautiful brown leather and in fairy good condition. I was not permitted to photocopy it but handcopied all the pages concerning the Siege of Port Hudson. If a descendant is interested I can send you a typed copy of the handcopied diary. Nancy
