JONES, Joe E. 87, of Fairborn, Ohio, passed away at Kettering Hospital in Dayton, Ohio on Saturday, March 24th. He is survived by his only child, Jason Jones, of Toronto, Ontario, his grand- children Jordan Thigpen-Jones and Levi Jones, of Orlando and New York City respectively, sister Lillian Gaver, her daughters Jan and Sharon, and grand-niece Michelle, among many other nieces and nephews. Although he spent most of his working life in the US Air Force, in his last years he loved, more than just about anything, a continuing search for the perfect backyard tomato. There will be a memorial service and internment of his cremated remains on Saturday, April 21st, at the Pill Hill Cemetery in Corbin, Kentucky, at 10am.
