Hi there. .
Being new to the list and thoroughly enjoying my experience on the e
circles chat I thought perhaps I had best let everyone out there know who I
need to find there in Eastern Kentucky. .
I am researching TAULBEE. .
James H TAULBEE married Louisa E UNDERWOOD in Flemingsburg(Fleming)Ky 15
Jul 1880 and they had the following children; Thomas,Gordon,Winnie,Nellie,
Sallie,John J (known as "Boots" in Kenton and Campbell Cos and somewhat a
"Bad Boy") and Jennie my grandmother.
By 1900 Louisa was in Kenton County and with a new husband John(just
found this first name in Louisa's obit)HOOVER. . WHAT HAPPENED TO JAMES H
TAULBEE? ?
According to Rose TAULBEE's book on the TAULBEEs James,(Who they also
have listed as Samuel Henry) was the son of William and Sarah PERKINS TAULBEE
and he had a sister name Rebecca. . Well this James(aka Samuel Henry) in the
book is "supposed" to have married in Wolfe County a Lady called Ellen DAVIS
in 1877. .And had 4 children between 1880 and 1886. .\therefore, my James H
is NOT Samuel but his father Was William TAULBEE and William TAULEE died in
Bath County in 1913. . My grandmother Jennie TAULBEE RAWE FLYNN stated on my
father's birth certificate that she was born in Bath Co KY. .This is the
reason for my believing that the William TAULBEE that died in Bath County is
my gr gr grandfather. .
William TAULBEE s/o Edwin and Lucille WILLIAMS TAULBEE is buried in
Sharpsburg KY. . COULD JAMES H TAULEE be buried there too. . My father used
to tell me of a place near Mt Sterling, a farm, that he used to go to. .
I do hope that I have not confused you all too. . I have been throughly
confused by this family forever it seems. .
