Hi (5th. Cousin) Jack,
returned from Selsey today and my visit to Maureen LUXTON yesterday.
Maureen sends her love.
We were talking about our ancestors and the speculation that we are 5th.
Cousins. She puts the probability about 75%.
I have the birth, marriage and death of my James and from him we are 100%
certain.
You are 100% certain of your family tree.
All I have to prove is that James was indeed the son of your 5th. Uncle
Robert.
The speculation is that Robert moved up to London around 1930, (probably on
the death of his first wife), and remarried and had children baptised at the
same time and place as his son James.
The second theory is that the Robert who lived with James might be his older
brother.
I still have some research to do to establish this relationship.
Speak to you soon,
Alan Earwaker

On our relationship, I have rechecked it and now say that we are 5th.
