I was surprised to have got your E_Mail as I was advised by Rootsweb
that because it contained an attachment it wouldn't go through the
system. Anyway I have resent the thing so apologise in advance for any
confusion.

The moot question is, I suppose, did you have any ancestor living in
North London at around the turn of last century? However it is also
possible that James Joyce may have visited Siddlesham and a third
alternative is that a branch of the Earwicker's from Siddlesham (albeit
no doubt a spindly one) ended up in Ireland. I do seem to recollect an
Irish link but without looking back on all my notes, which might take
for hours, it is only but a recollection.

However I hope that you may be able to shed some light on my records
having downloaded the greater part of the Earwaker/Earwicker/etc etc.
family from the Mormon Web site can you throw some links on the

Any light you can throw on the links between these groups would be most
appreciated.

On the James Joyce connection it strikes me that the EARWEKER spelling
does have a somewhat Irish twang to it and I wonder if you are aware of
any possible links between Siddlesham and Ireland or an Irish Community.
(Navvy gangs building canals or the like?)
