Hello Maureen,

I'll list below what knowledge I have.

Thomas Wassall EARWAKER, carpenter, died 11 August 1929 at Homeopathic
Hospital, City of South Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The death
certificate states he is age 91 years and was buried 12 August 1929 at
Burwood Cemetery, Presbyterian Section A, Grave 10K. I do have a copy of his
death certificate, but it is extremely hard to read, cause of death is
stated as: Bronchitis Asthma - years and Cardiac Failure.

I have still not discovered exactly when Thomas W. EARWAKER came to
Australia. The Public Record of Victoria have just finished indexing
migration into Victoria up until 1879. I believe their next series of
indexing will include the period when the EARWAKER's and REEDS arrived and
so should provide an opportunity to locate their arrival dates. When this
next series of indexing will be completed I have no idea, but am awaiting it
eagerly.

I am not, at the moment, actively researching the EARWAKER's but am happy
to
provide anyone with anything that I know, which is not very much.

Yvonne REEDS
Qld, Australia

I was interested to note the marriage in Sept 1863 of Elizabeth

her? as I do a one name study of the WASSELL's.
