The best source for this is:
I. N. Phelps Stokes, The Iconography of Manhattan Island, 1498-1909
(6 Volumes).

You can probably find this in large genealogy libraries or
large university libraries.


You might also retrieve from the Dutch-Colonies archives a message
from Bob Protzmann dated Feb 3, 1998, subject: Castello Plan Map/Dutch Grants

I believe the designation of the lots in his list (Block A, lot 1; etc)
is in reference to the map of the Dutch Grants in Stokes and not to the
Costello Plan map (also in Stokes). They have different designations.


Also, if you post a question about a specific lot or a specific person,
there may be someone on this list who can answer for that case.
