I agree with Lorine, there were two Helenas, the first died young. I
have the survivor m. to Teunis DeKay. They are the ancestors of Louisa
May Alcott:
1132. Helena VAN BRUGH, bp. Apr 4, 1659, NYDRC; dy.
1133. Helena VAN BRUGH, bp. Jul 28, 1660, NYDRC; m. Teunis De Kay
Perhaps she was married a second time. The BUSSINGS were in Harlem, and
are listed in Riker's History of Harlem. I will look the next time I am
in the library.
