Lisa-
I have to note that the Henry Dundass in my family had a wife named
Arabella. Must be the same one. His son William George's name and birth
date (1/27/1773), could well be a typo. I have information that William
George married a woman named Dorthea Brunker in Dublin on 6/2/1790, which
would be hard for me to believe given that he may have been actually born in
1783! Not much call for 7yr old husbands! ;-) Now, to continue on my
great-great grandfather Noble Dundas, I believe he and his wife had about 10
children. One of his sons' William Evans Dundas, maried a Margaret McCann,
and left Canada to live in Hope, Michigan. One of his sons was James Noble
Dundas born on 6/10/1899. He married a Rosa Mae Welker of Beaverton,
Michigan. Their only child is my father, Robert James Dundas, born on
7/21/1934 in Flint, Michigan. There are many Dundas' from Noble's branch
living in Michigan and in Ontario Canada. As a child, I spent many summers
traveling to the yearly Dundas reunions for this branch. Many of the older
members have extensive histories and a lot of very old photos (1800's) of
members of the family. I would love to hear more on this thread.
