Does anyone have more information about the Hahn family of theologians that I give below? My ancestor Oswald Friedrich Hahn probably died around 1870 in or near Liegnitz, Silesia, Prussia (now Legnica, Poland) , when his two sons (Adolph August Hermann Harry Hahn, b 10 September 1855, d 12 September 1921; and Julius Alfred Richard Hahn, b 11 February 1857, d 15 March 1929) were sent off to America alone. Family tradition identifies Oswald Friedrich Hahn as a Lutheran minister, and it occurs to me that he might be a member of the family of theologians. Oswald Friedrich Hahn married Sophia Koenig, presumably before 1855. She was still alive and living in Liegnitz on 4 October1876. There are Hahns in the neighboring towns of Ohlau, Breslau, Erdmannshain, and Greunberg.
